  7. A PC-AT-based modular multiplexor that can support the following
  8. configurations: 1) 8 to 64 RS-232C serial ports controlled by 2 to 16
  9. microprocessors with 128 to 1024 KB of memory; or 2) up to 32 RS-232C serial
  10. ports and up to 8 Centronics parallel output ports controlled by up to 8
  11. microprocessors with up to 512K bytes of memory. The external chassis is
  12. connected to a PC-AT adapter card via a 4-foot cable. Only on PC-AT I/O slot
  13. and one IRQ line is required. The external chassis provides its own DC power.
  14. Up to four C6400 multiplexors can be supported on a single high-performance
  15. PC-AT to provide up to 256 serial I/O ports. RJ45 modular jacks are provided
  16. for all serial device connections and the EIA DB25S connectors are provided for
  17. Centronics parallel printer connections. Baud rates up to 38,400 can be
  18. sustained on all serial ports. MS-DOS, SCO XENIX, SCO UNIX, and AT&T UNIX
  19. device drivers are available. This product incorporates the CTC Systems'
  20. Gemini-1000 and/or the Gemini-1020.
